MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTOR

Welcome to the Center for Nanoscale Science and Engineering. We have built the Center for the benefit of the faculty and students of the University of Denver interested in nanoscience and nanotechnology.
The Center consists of approximately 23 professors from 8 DU departments, all actively involved in the work of the center. We also have a very fast growing number of undergraduate and graduate students interested in nanoscience and nanotechnology. Several faculty members of the Center are pursuing nanoscience research programs. We also offer numerous nanoscience/nanotechnology related courses in the participating Departments.
Presently, we are expanding the center towards other Departments within DU and organizations outside of DU. In particular, we are very interested in attracting local nanotechnology-focused companies to work with us.
We would like to inform you that the Center has recently been formally recognized by the University of Denver. We are especially grateful to the Provost, Dr. Gregg Kvistad, for providing a generous grant to support the research and educational activities within the Center.
If you would like to learn more about the Center or even perhaps join the Center, please browse through our web site or contact Dr. Maciej Kumosa, Center Director.
